DMAS Questions for class 5

In this post, we will provide you with DMAS Questions for Class 5 with answers, which you can practice so as to improve your understanding of the topic.

We use the acronym “DMAS “ to make a mathematical equation with two or more operations simpler. The letters D, M, A, and S stand for division, multiplication, addition, and subtraction, respectively. The students can practice the various types of questions in the section below on simplifications to gain greater insight into the topic.

DMAS Questions for class 5 with Answers

When multiple arithmetic operations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division are present in a given mathematical expression, the DMAS rule is applied. D stands for division, M for multiplication, A for addition, and S for subtraction in ‘DMAS.’

When a mathematical expression involving all four operations is given, we solve these operations in the order:

  1. Division     2. Multiplication       3. Addition      4.  Subtraction

Remember the below table for the correct implementation of the DMAS rule.

Faq on DMAS?

What is PEDMAS?

The order or simplification of mathematical processes is known as BODMAS in India. The BODMAS regulation, however, is known as PEDMAS in various countries, such as the US (United States) or UK (United Kingdom), etc. We can reduce arithmetic problems with several mathematical operators by using the PEDMAS approach.
