New NCERT Books for 2026-27
NCERT is replacing its textbooks one stage at a time under the new National Curriculum Framework. In 2026-27, Class 9 gets new books: Kaveri (English), Ganga (Hindi), Ganita Manjari (Mathematics), Exploration (Science) and Understanding Society: India and Beyond (Social Science). Class 1 to 8 already study from the new books, such as Sarangi and Mridang in Class 1 and 2, Veena, Santoor and Maths Mela in Class 3 to 5, and Malhar, Poorvi, Ganita Prakash and Curiosity in Class 6 to 8. Class 10, 11 and 12 continue with their current editions this year.
