📌 Master Formula & Proof Revision Sheet for Class 8 Mathematics

  • Perfect Squares: Ending digits must be 0, 1, 4, 5, 6, 9. Odd number of factors implies a perfect square.
  • Exponents Laws: am × an = am+n; am / an = am−n; (am)n = amn.
  • Quadrilaterals: Sum of interior angles = (n − 2) × 180° = 360°. Parallelogram opposite angles are equal, diagonals bisect each other.
  • Baudhayana-Pythagoras: c2 = a2 + b2 in right-angled triangles. Triplets: (3,4,5), (5,12,13), (8,15,17), (7,24,25).
  • Euler’s Formula: Faces (F) + Vertices (V) − Edges (E) = 2 for any convex polyhedron.
  • Mensuration: Trapezium Area = 1/2 × (a + b) × h; Rhombus Area = 1/2 × d1 × d2.
