(c) In a ration shop, there was 1250 kg 875 g of wheat in the morning the day, 1080 kg 250 g of wheat was sold out. By the evening how much wheat was left in the shop?
Solution:
Available Wheat in morning=1250 kg 875 g ———(1)
Wheat sold during the day = 1080 kg 250 g ———(2)
Wheat remaining in the evening = (1) – (2)
Wheat remaining in the evening = 170 Kg and 625 g Ans
(d) The weight of one watermelon is 5 kg 350 g and that of another is 4 kg 945 g Which watermelon is of more quantity and by how much?
Solution:
Weight of one watermelon = 5 kg 350 g ———(1)
Weight of the second watermelon = 4 kg 945 g ———(2)
Watermelon with a weight of 5kg 350g is of more quantity than watermelon with a weight of 4 kg 945 g.
Watermelon with a weight of 5kg 350g is of more quantity than watermelon with a weight of 4 kg 945 g by = (1) – (2)
Watermelon with a weight of 5kg 350g is of more quantity than watermelon with a weight of 4 kg 945 g by = 405g
