Ans:-Its because of the vertebrae that we are able to bend.If backbone will be straight and without vertebrae we will not be able to bend down as these veryebrae only help us to bent down.
3. Why is bone marrow known as the factory for making blood cells?
Ans:- Bone marrow is know as the factory for making blood cells because in the bones there are some hollow space which made both rbc and wbc.
4. How does a ball and socket joint work?
Ans :- Ball-and-socket joints are a special class of synovial joints that enjoy the highest freedom of motion in the body thanks to their unique structure. The shoulder and hip joints are the only ball-and-socket joints in the human body due to the need for great motion at the end of the body’s limbs and the vast amount of musculature needed to move and support such flexible joints.
5. Dogs and bats are also mammals like us. How does our sense of smell compare with that of a dog and our sense of hearing with that of a bat?
Ans:-For one thing, they possess up to 300 million olfactory receptors in their noses, compared to about six million in us. And the part of a dog’s brain that is devoted to analyzing smells is, proportionally speaking, 40 times greater than ours. Dogs’ noses also function quite differently than our own.
